Josh Homme of Queens Of The Stone Age and Kyuss fame once revealed that the cornerstone of his tone came from an inexpensive little practice amplifier, the Peavey Decade combo amp.
Now Peavey has teamed up with Homme to unveil the brand new (and still inexpensive) Decade Too Guitar Amp Combo. The Peavey Decade Too delivers that signature Homme sound with its unique Saturation switch, 10 watts of solid-state power, and a 3-band EQ enhanced by Josh Homme himself with extra Bass and Top boost switches.
The Decade Too Guitar Amp Combo houses an 8″, 8 Ohm internal Celestion driver voiced like the best of the Rola speakers used from 1980-83 and a speaker Phase switch for feedback inversion effects. Other than that, this thing is tiny and generally powerful as hell. Now go learn the riff to “No One Knows”, yeah?
