Peavey is bringing back their Adrian Vandenberg series of guitars and they look very shreddy. The Vandenberg Signature Series come in Purple Flame Maple, Rock-it Pink, and Matte Black finishes atop what can only be described a sa mutant Strat body.
The Vandenberg Signature Series offer Mahogany body construction with Quilt Maple top and Mahogany neck on the Purple Flame Maple, or Mahogany top and neck on the Rock-It Pink and the Matte Black. The necks differ as wel, with a Bound Ebony fingerboard with Vandenberg signature inlays on the Purple Flame Maple and the Rock-It Pink, and diamond inlays on the Matte Black. All three come equipped with a Floyd Rose Original tremolo bridge, dual-action truss rod, and 24.75″ scale length and 15″ neck radius.
As far as pickups, the Vandenberg Signature Series offers Seymour Duncans including a TB-6 in the bridge and SH-6 in the neck with black frames and cream binding on the Purple Flame Maple, a Seymour Duncan TB-6 in the bridge and the STK-S6 Custom Stack Plus in black on the Rock-It Pink, and a Seymour TB-6 bridge pickup featuring a red screw bobbin alongside the black slug bobbin and the STK-S6 Custom Stk Plus in black for the neck on the Matte Black.
And because every single one of these three is different, there’s obviously choices in the hardware too – Gold hardware on the Purple Flame Maple, Gloss Black hardware on the Rock-It Pink, and Satin/Matte Black hardware on the Matte Black.
“Reviving a classic for the modern era, the Peavey Vandenberg Signature Series makes a return with a contemporary twist,” said Peavey of the guitars. “Available in three stunning finishes — Purple Flame Maple, Rock-it Pink, and Matte Black — each guitar in the series is a nod to its illustrious past, now reimagined for today’s discerning guitarist.
“Equipped with the renowned Floyd Rose original tremolo and high-performance Seymour Duncan pickups, these guitars offer a perfect blend of 80s nostalgia and modern precision, ensuring exceptional playability and a timeless sound that resonates across generations.”
All three will be available for $2,999.
