The base model in the Polara platform has an ultra-light ergonomic body thanks to its contouring and minimalistic hardware package, a string-through body design, and a diagonal string layout matches Guild‘s compensated stopbar design. The Polara features uncovered HB-2+ pickups, which are modern extensions of the coveted Guild HB-1 oversized humbuckers, built in a traditional size humbucker with Alnico V magnets.

Hard hitting and eye catching colors complimented by the uncovered HB-2+ pickups with black pole pieces bring a vibe that pairs perfectly with the Polara‘s offset and rock ready design. Get ’em here in Voltage Yellow, Phantom Green and Blue Steel gloss finishes.

Then there’s the Polara Night Edition, which brings a blacked-out aesthetic to the Polara platform a with black metal headstock “Peak” logo and all-black hardware to compliment a dark Tungsten finish. It’s dark and available here.

Then there’s the Polara Deluxe, which offers a bound Rosewood fingerboard with block inlays, Guild Peak and Chesterfield headstock inlays, Guild compensated stopbar tailpiece, Hot-wound HB-2+ pickups with Alnico V magnets, and color options ranging from classic transparent to modern metallic. The Polara Deluxe has traditional Guild pickup covers featuring Guild’s classic dual rail design, with two volume and tone controls, and push/pull coil splitting for maximum tonal variety.

Get ’em here in transparent Cherry Red, Vintage Sunburst, and Canyon Dusk finishes.

Oh, and then to top it all off, Kim Thayil’s new signature guitar is available in Vintage White. Which is important.
