Eventide has taken their already-fantastic H90 Harmonizer and added two very major updates to it.
The first is Bluetooth capabilities, which Guitar World points out finally allows players to customize and control their H90 without ever having to plug it in.”We have another free update which is Bluetooth support for iPad, so now you can control everything you need to do right on your iPad wirelessly,” Eventide‘s Patrick Flores said to the publication. “That’s been a huge request for us, so we’re pretty stoked about that one.”
The second is the addition of PolySynth, which Flores points out is a “a polyphonic synthesizer you couldn’t previously [use] with any other Eventide product.” So if you’ve been on the fence about getting an H90, now might be the time to jump.
The H90 Harmonizer boasts 62 effect algorithms and hundreds of Program combinations including Eventide’s iconic reverbs, delays, modulation, and pitch-shifting effects of the H9 Max along with ten new powerful algorithms including state-of-the-art, fast-tracking, and warble-free Polyphonic Pitch Shifting.
The H90 Harmonizer comes with factory Programs that can be loaded using either Select or Bank mode – Select mode offers a sequential playlist of effects, while Bank mode allows you to load from a bank of three Programs, perfect for cueing up the range of sounds for a song.
And yes – you can use H90 Control software to edit Programs, create lists, and update firmware on a Mac or PC. Get one here for $900.
