Line 6 is getting into the digital amplifier game with the brand new Catalyst CX series. The series offers three brand new combo amps – the Catalyst CX 200, a 200-watt dual-channel 2×12 combo amplifier; the Catalyst CX 100, a 100-watt dual-channel 1×12 combo amplifier; and the Catalyst CX 60, a 60-watt dual-channel 1×12 combo amplifier.
All three Catalyst CX series amplifiers offer 12 Amp Voicings derived from the Helix amp and effects processor, ranging from pristine clean to modern high-gain. There are also 24 HX-quality effects spanning four effects categories.
Additional features include sturdy construction, a Tap/Tuner button, an XLR line output, an effects loop, a Power Amp input for using Catalyst CX as a powered speaker, MIDI functionality, a 2-channel USB recording interface, and power output options.
The free Catalyst Edit app for desktop and mobile devices provides deep editing capabilities. Add an optional LFS2 footswitch for even more flexibility, and an optional cover to protect your combo.
