King Diamond guitarist Andy LaRocque is finally getting his own signature ESP guitar, as he should – the man wrote Abigail. One of the greatest metal albums there ever was.
The new LTD ALR-II is based on the classic ESP Horizon body and offers neck-thru-body construction at 24.75″ scale, and is distinctively finished in See Thru Purple over its Figured Quilted Maple top. The LTD ALR-II features a three-piece Maple neck, a Macassar Ebony fingerboard with a compound radius and 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets, and Luminlay side markers.

Hardware-wise, the LTD ALR-II comes loaded with a Floyd Rose 1000 double-locking tremolo, and a set of Seymour Duncan TB-4 JB Trembucker in the bridge and STK-S6 Custom Stack Plus in the neck. Both are passive pickups.
