Jackson is upping their bass game even further with the introduction of their new Pro Series Spectra Bass line.
The Jackson Pro Series Spectra series come in both 4-and-5-string iterations and feature unique multi-laminate premium wood bodies, pretty awesome finishes, and color matched headstocks with a classy J-style logo. Both the Jackson Pro Series Spectra Bass SBP IV and SBP V feature a through-body five-piece maple/walnut/maple/walnut/maple neck with graphite reinforcement, 12″-16″ compound radius caramelized jatoba fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets, and multi-laminate poplar burl/walnut/maple/walnut/mahogany body. Then there’s the Jackson Pro Series Spectra Bass SBA V, which only differs from the aformentioned in that it features a multi-laminate flatsawn ash/walnut/maple/walnut/mahogany body instead.
All the Jackson Pro Series Spectra basses come with Nordstrand single-coil soapbar pickups, a two-way toggle switch to alternate between active and passive, a three-way toggle switch for variable mid-frequencies, and a three-band EQ that works only when the bass is set to active. As far as hardware goes, the comes with a Jackson Single-String hardtail bridge and Jackson sealed die-cast tuners.
The Jackson Pro Series Spectra Bass SBP IV goes for $899.99, while both the Jackson Pro Series Spectra Bass SBP V and SBA V go for $999.99.
