Jackson brought back their Surfcaster models, and they’re pretty affordable!
First up is the Jackson JS Series JS22 Surfcaster which offers up a 25.5″ scale, Poplar body, bolt-on 12″ to 16″ compound radius Maple neck, and Amaranth fingerboard with 22 Jumbo frets. The JS Series JS22 Surfcaster comes loaded with two Jackson High-Output Humbucking pickups controlled by a 3-position blade pickup selector.
The Jackson JS22 Surfcaster is available here in Snow White and Gloss Black finshes for $249.99 each.
Then there’s the higher-end X Series Surfcaster, which comes in either a 6- or 7-string configuration. The X Series Surfcaster offers up either a 25.5″ scale for the 6-string or 26.5″ for the 7-string, Poplar body and bolt-on Maple neck with a 12″-16″ compound radius bound Laurel fingerboard with pearloid sharkfin inlays and 24 Jumbo frets.
Unlike its more affordable cousin, the X Series Surfcaster comes loaded with a single Jackson High-Output 7-String humbucker. The Jackson X Series Surfcaster HT6 and HT7 are available here for $549.99 and $599.99, respectively.
