Hooboy everybody. We have something special for you. Italian Guitar company Rusti Guitars has been making some gorgeous guitars for some time now. And they have been working on a new piece to show that their game is on par with everyone else; and by George, I think they’ve done it. The first prototype of the Abstract is done and is for sale right now!
First off, the thing looks stunning. I’m usually not one for guitars looking cool for the sake of looking cool, but it’s a looker for sure. It reminds me of the water levels in Super Mario 64, aesthetically speaking. But enough about blues, what’s this thing have for sounds? Well here are the specs:
Abstract carved top
Chameleon aqua green\purple gloss finish on body and front headstock
Satin transparent neck
6 String 25.5″ scale
24 Stainless Steel Jumbo frets
Rounded fret ends with hidden slots
Alder body + Maple top
Bolt-on maple neck
Macassar Ebony fretboard 16″ radius
Luminlays side dots
Schaller Hannes Fixed Bridge Chrome
Sperzel Locking Tuners Chrome
Bare Knuckle Pickups Holy Diver on Bridge, Nickel cover
Bare Knuckle Pickups VH2 on Neck, Nickel cover
Graphtech nut
Double action truss rod
Carbon fiber neck reinforcements
Dunlop Flush Straplock Chrome
Volume Push-Pull (Splits coils)
3 Way Toggle Switch Chrome
That’s a lot of cool stuff for a cool guitar. I wouldn’t mind plucking it once or twice.
The Abstract can be yours for a cool 2,500 euros (that’s about $2957.85). And even if it’s gone by the time you’re reading this, at least check out the Rusti Facebook to see the rest of the guitars that they make, they’re all just as good. Also, here’s some more pics of the Abstract to make you want it more.
