IK Multimedia has just released the Gus G. Tone Asylum Signature Collection for TONEX, expanding the signature series with new Tone Models from one of the most renowned rock metal guitarists.
The Asylum Signature Collection delivers exact recreations of the Gus’ favorite amps and settings, which he used for everything from his band Firewind to studio work and touring with the Prince of Darkness, Ozzy Osbourne.
The Asylum Signature Collection offers 27 tone models captured by Gus G. from his private amp collection and uses AI Machine Modeling to really drill down on realism.
The collection includes models of a Blackstar HT5 Metal and Blackstar St. James 6L6, as well as the powerful gain of his Blackstar Series 200 Blackfire signature amp. Several classic metal amps based on legendary models – the ENGL Powerball, 5150 III, MESA Engineering TRIPLE RECTIFIER, Marshall JCM 2000 TSL60 and Marshall JCM 800 – are also included.
The collection can be used across the entire TONEX ecosystem, including the free TONEX CS, and all tone models can be loaded to TONEX Pedal or TONEX ONE for live performance. Check out the suite of IK Multimedia’s TONEX products right here.
