With players increasingly seeking pro-level sound for both home studio recording and live gigs, the Hypersonic 6L6 arrives as one of the most ambitious digital amps the brand has released to date.

That versatility comes from three fully independent channels, each tuned for a familiar EVH flavor. Channels one and two include concentric gain, EQ, and volume controls for precise tone shaping, while each channel features its own noise gate to keep high-gain settings tight and controlled. Channel three offers streamlined single-knob operation with its own gate for fast, heavy sounds that still retain articulation.
A redesigned footswitch adds remote control over both reverb and effects loop selection, while the power selector allows players to choose full power or five attenuated modes—an essential feature for those who want saturated tube-style tone at low volumes.
For guitarists who record direct or run amps silently onstage, the Hypersonic includes a balanced XLR output loaded with impulse response cabinet and microphone simulations, allowing mix-ready tones straight to a console.
