One of the things I was most excited to check out at this year’s NAMM was the freshly tinted new line of Wolfgang instruments that EVH has had on their line for a few years. Like many people, I own and love their amplifiers, and am always curious about what they’re up to in regards to the instruments they’re making.
But the really cool thing they’re doing this year is a limited run of 20 tour replica models of the Wolfgang Special, built by Fender’s mad scientist Chip Ellis. We got a peek at this thing – which includes a freaking fail-safe/nuclear launch code/Jeopardy button kill switch – and more. Check em out:
