It’s time. Star Wars: The Force Awakens dropped at midnight last night. I’m en route to Washington D.C. right now to catch it in proper 15/70mm IMAX, and I’m sure you all have your own plans to see it. We’ve been prepping by digging into some of the metal arrangements of the film’s iconic score, including last week’s 31-piece guitar orchestration of the main title.
YouTube guitarist Israel Rodriguez is next in line, dropping a pretty sick arrangement of some of the Imperial March segment of John Williams’ original score, mixed in with a few special treat licks (including one of my favorite Iron Maiden riffs).
