I haven’t followed the Shads much lately, but once upon a time I was ALL about them. I grew up in Massachusetts so they were always playing around, and watching those dreads whip around to “Crushing Belial” fueled my early musical dreams.
Jason Bittner is also one of the best drummers from the New Breed of American Metalcore or whatever the fuck that scene was called, and some of his buckets can be your buckets:
