I feel like The Animals’ “House of the Rising Sun” is just one of those great cover songs, you know? The song is written in a way where you could cover it in almost any style and it sounds pretty good most of the time. It’s an enigma of the music industry for sure. But Immortal Guardian has the definitive metal edition of this song, hands down. Sure it’s a little noodley, and the vocals are a tad over-the-top, but the Guardioids do those things so well, I can’t really fault them. Good on ya lads.
