With the release of Dream Theater‘s fourteenth studio album Distance Over Time, guitarist John Petrucci teamed up with Ernie Ball Music Man to premiere this short film “Inspired Innovation”, which is a brief behind-the-scenes where the man himself discusses the making of the new record, the process of the band creating together offsite at Yonderbarn, and how he incorporated the latest iteration of his best-selling Majesty guitar into the process. By the way, his new model is available domestically April 1st and Internationally May 1st, and we simply can’t wait until it’s out. Check out the specs below.
About the Majesty:
“The 2019 Majesty guitar features a constructed through-neck design of mahogany and flame maple shield with black or chrome hardware (depending on the finish) and white pearl shield position markers. A polyester gloss finish is also applied to the complete instrument. The Majesty features a Music Man Piezo floating tremolo bridge and Schaller locking tuners with new custom designed signature DiMarzio Dreamcatcher and Rainmaker pickups, with a push/push volume for over 20dB gain boost. Offered in a 6 and 7 string. Available in April 2019 for North America and May 2019 worldwide.”
