Cover Periphery’s “Make Total Destroy” with Just Drums and Piano? Easy.

Well, it’s easy if you’re two fine young chaps from the Berklee College of Music. Joey Izzo and Erik Huang, two members of the previously unknown (but I’m sure people will be checking them out now) instrumental group Zombie Frogs (pro tip: change the band name, guys) knock the ball out of the admittedly tiny Fenway park with this cover of Periphery’s “Make Total Destroy.”

Speaking of Periphery, have you had a chance to read the encyclopedic interview we just posted with Periphery’s Jake Bowen? We talked with him for a half hour. It was exhausting. I was just twitching on the floor for hours afterwards.

Chris Alfano has written about music and toured in bands since print magazines and mp3.com were popular. Once in high-school he hacked a friend's QBasic stick figure fighting game to add a chiptune metal soundtrack. Random attractive people still give him high-fives about that.
