Boy, Rob Scallon sure is in an analogue funk right now. You can’t pull the guy away from the tape deck! Which probably isn’t a bad thing, it’s teaching the internet a lot about the lost art. In this episode ROB BACK THEN, Rob teaches us how to make effects that pedals can do with a click of a button, with nothing but the tape machine. Who knew the tape machine was hiding all of these secrets! My favorite was the reverse and delay. Not to sound like a shitty analogue purist, but I think it did sound better than the digital effects that we’re so used to. Something natural about it. I dunno. Maybe it’s just me. Watch the video and learn something.
