I’ll be honest, this video from YouTuber Deep Cuts would have been super useful to me when I was 15-16 years old. Back then I was listening to Lamb of God, Pantera, Dream Theater, and other “normal” meter style bands. The first time I heard Dillinger, my brain literally could not understand what was happening and I pretty much wrote them off until I was in my mid-twenties. Since then, I have slowly been able to get into other math-y bands, but this list would have definitely helped me out. This is a pretty solid list of bands including Danza, Car Bomb, Botch, Dillinger, and Converge.
