I knew that a lot of people were fans of the Bias FX guitar effects processor – like Ola England, Tosin Abasi, Paul Masvidal, and more – but I wasn’t aware of just how versatile this thing actually is. It’s literally like squeezing a Guitar Center into a plugin, except without the employees telling you it’s time to stop.
So I really enjoyed this demonstration of the Bias FX from Jake Pitts, guitarist for Black Veil Brides, which shows off all of the tools afforded by this little plugin. He takes you through building a tone, starting with guitar and bass DI’s, and then plays through a track with the completed tone. Pretty cool stuff, even if you’re not a fan of the band. Check it out:
