On our latest episode of Quality Control, I take a closer look at the SYN-1 Single Module Tube Preamp by Synergy Amps! Even though this lil’ fella is, well, lil’, it still comes loaded with a host of unique and handy features that make this thing incredibly useful. You may recognize the layout from its bigger brother, the SYN-50 Modular Amp System, but the SYN-1 is just the standalone version of the modular preamp system that’s baked right into the SYN-50. This is great if you don’t want the whole amp system, but still want the flexibility of various and sundry guitar tones to choose from.
