Orange Amps Rockerverb 100 MKIII Review

What’s up Gear Mortals, Trey Xavier here. On today’s edition of Gear Gods Quality Control, we’re gonna be taking a look at the Rockerverb 100 MKIII from Orange Amps!

Well, I’ve reviewed a lot of Orange Amps this year. A lot. So I’m not gonna blather on about this amp too much, because I think the demo pretty much says it all. This is, to me, the top dawg of the Orange line. It’s the best representation of the modern-day Orange tone and it has all the trimmings in terms of options and is probably their most flexible design. The Orange tone is still there, it’s just what you can do with it and how you can access it that’s different. For example, we’ve got a built-in attenuator knob that allows you to crank the power section but keep the volume low, plus the option for full or half power. The attenuator, reverb, and channel selections are all footswitchable.

This amp weighs so much. So, so much. Maybe not that big a deal but if you’re a wimp like me it’s worth taking into consideration. It sounds great so it might be worth it, but holy hell, it’s so heavy.

Thanks so much for watching guys, Patreon subscribers this week get their name in the credits and access to download the raw mix tracks and DIs for the demo song as well as the final mixed version, and access to our Discord channel where you can talk to us directly. If you haven’t already, mash that subscribe button for more reviews and original content, and I’ll see you real soon!

As Editor-in-Chief of Gear Gods, I've been feeding your sick instrument fetishism and trying unsuccessfully to hide my own since 2013. I studied music on both coasts (Berklee and SSU) and now I'm just trying to put my degree to some use. That's a music degree, not an English one. I'm sure you noticed.
