Summoner’s Circle will release their new album Chaos Vector on August 27, and we’re streaming guitarist Azra’s crushing playthrough of the title track right now! If you’re a fan of bands like Dimmu Borigr and Behemoth, then you’re going to love this.
“‘Chaos Vector’ is the title track for our upcoming album, and without a doubt does justice in setting expectations and representing it,” said guitarist Azra. “With its chaotic energy and catchy hook, it’s absolutely earned a top spot in my favorites to play. Lyrically, Chaos Vector tells the story of a man who has been driven to madness by his practices with the occult. While he tries tirelessly to warn others of the impending doom he wrought upon this world; he is only perceived as a madman sounding off.
“While the track was originally recorded with a Kemper Profiler and a red Solar V1.6 Artist LTD, in this play through of ‘Chaos Vector’, I’m seen using my Peavey XXX head, and my Solar A2.6 GN. The Peavey XXX is a classic, and an absolute behemoth when it comes to raw power. My Solar shreds AND looks good, stocked with Duncan Solars and strapped with a set of D’Addario NYXL1052 strings. With its mahogany body and maple neck, this beauty is easily one of the lightest and most comfortable guitars I’ve ever played. Put these two together, and you get a hot combo sure to melt faces.”
