Mike Portnoy Pays Tribute to David Bowie with “Moonage Daydream” Playthrough

After the news that Bowie suddenly passed from cancer last week, former Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy’s current band The Winery Dogs released a cover of “Moonage Daydream,” one of the great songs from 1972’s The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars. And now Portnoy has blasted a drum cam playthrough video to accompany the song.

Pretty weird to see him playing such a straightforward song – that Portnoy fill flair adapts weirdly to the format. Cool watch. Check it out below:
