Vancouver-based progressive metal band KOSM have released a brand new playthrough for their song “A Call Beyond” off their new EP entitled Eyes On The Inside! Ever since their 2018 Lovecraft-inspired debut album Cosmonaut, KOSM has been shredding it up, maturing their sound, and proving to the metal world that they are here to melt some faces.
The band had this to say about their playthrough:
“This song was unexpectedly a highlight for a lot of people on the new release! When we were writing “A Call Beyond”, it was the last on the list and as the recording date drew closer, it was a question of if it even was going to make it on the EP! It’s such a quick-paced, frenetic song and a bit of a wilder direction for us; so of course, in an entirely typical KOSM fashion, the one we finished last HAD to come out first!”
It is safe to say that if you are a fan of Tool, Mastodon, or Gojira, you will totally dig KOSM. The band has several upcoming shows as well:
