Guitarist Tim Lucier makes things look pretty damn easy while shredding his way through this ferocious-yet-melodic track. Relentless and surprisingly catchy, “Nightmare” covers a lot of ground is sure to please most fans of heavy music.
About the song, Tim had this to say:
“‘Nightmare’ was written during a very dark time for me personally. Being able to work with Mark Lewis on finding my identity and sound for this album was a time in my life I would never ask to change. We spent hours together working on tone and really focusing on the importance of a message through this aggressive track. When I wrote the song I wasn’t really thinking about the extent of difficulty, but more the extent of how to color the track with melody showing emotion. Writing and now playing this track night after night is and will always be a big emotional release for me. Revenge. Forgiveness. Recovery. isn’t only my story, but it’s ours. Thank you for listening.”
