Infected Dead reemerges in 2026 as a sharper, more focused force that’s ready to beat your ass into aural submission. Their latest single, “In Spaces Beyond,” showcased in a blistering playthrough by guitarists Alexander Brown and Chris Rahman premiered by Gear Gods, should prove that to you pretty easily.
Following a lineup overhaul in 2024, the Kent-based five-piece regrouped with members tied to acts like Pupil Slicer, Dawnwalker, and Overthrow. Sharing stages with heavyweights such as Ingested, Vader, Immolation, and Pestilence, the band has spent the last couple of years refining their chemistry in real time.
The band’s forthcoming EP, Invicta, represents the culmination of years of ideas finally brought to life. Originally conceived in 2020, the material has evolved alongside the band itself, emerging now as their most ambitious and fully realized work to date.
