If you like tech death, German metal act Cytotoxin are the band for you. Fast and intense passages with plenty of neoclassical shredding are what mainly pass through guitarist Jason Melidonie’s fingers throughout their many songs, and to show you just how it’s done, he’s put together this playthrough of their song “Outearthed” featuring the new stunning Plagueis 7 Prototype from Carillion Guitars! Watch, listen, and be amazed, only right here, on Gear Gods!
Along with this searing playthrough with some of the techy-est shreds to ever grace this godforsaken website, this video also comes with an announcement via Chris Delia (AKA, the mastermind behind Carillion Guitars): Jason has now officially become a Carillion Guitars artist! Check out the full statement from Chris below:
“I’m incredibly proud to finally be able to reveal that Jason Melidonie of German Radiation-Tech death monsters CYTOTOXIN has just joined the Carillion Artist family! This has been a really fun one for me, it was actually Jason that encouraged me to finally offer a headless model in my range. I’d been toying with the idea for a while (because you guys have been endlessly asking for years now), and I finally had the image of what I wanted to do in my mind but wasn’t sure whether I wanted to roll it out or not. He then requested headless while we were chatting, and he dug my ideas on it. He then put a bunch of his own ideas into the cooking pot and it all slowly evolved into the Plagueis model we finally revealed last week!”
Jason’s announcement statement as well:
“I’m incredibly honored to announce that I’ve joined Carillion Guitars as an official endorsee promoting the new PLAGUEIS headless model! I’ll be shredding this axe on our upcoming European tour alongside Aborted, Cryptopsy and Benighted in November. More details, photos, and videos follow soon!”
