ARKAIK Rip “Occultivation” To Shreds In This Exclusive Bass Playthrough

New Arkaik bassist Riley Christensen demonstrates the extreme chops it takes to perform extreme metal in this exclusive bass playthrough for the band’s punishing track “Occultivation” from their album Nemethia.

Riley says of the video:

“I’m immensely stoked to be a part of the Arkaik lineup! I have a really good feeling that my musical influences will work well for Arkaik and I can’t wait to see what lies ahead for the future of this band. For gear, I use a Warwick German made pro series 5 string thumb bass with Dunlop super bright strings. For my amp, I’ll be using a Darkglass Microtubes 900w on stage and for recording.”

As Editor-in-Chief of Gear Gods, I've been feeding your sick instrument fetishism and trying unsuccessfully to hide my own since 2013. I studied music on both coasts (Berklee and SSU) and now I'm just trying to put my degree to some use. That's a music degree, not an English one. I'm sure you noticed.
