Solar Guitars is here to give bassists the angular, aggressive body shapes they need (need – not want) with the E2.4RSB Bass. Finished in Black Open Pore with a striking gloss graphic, the E2.4RSB takes Solar’s usually sharp guitar bodies and applies it to the low end.
Or as Solar Guitars put it: “The new Solar E2.4RSB Bass represents a bold statement engineered to satisfy the most discerning metal bass player. No longer do metal bassists have to suffer a lack of extreme modern shapes while guitarists enjoy a multitude of options.”

The E2.4RSB features a 34″ scale length and a comfortable 24-fret layout, an Alder body, and a three-piece C profile Maple neck utilizing Solar’s Set-Thru design, and a stained Rosewood fingerboard featuring a 400mm radius.
A Graph Tech Tusq XL nut works alongside Solar’s 17:1 bass tuners to provide dependable tuning stability, while the fixed high-mass bridge helps maximize sustain and note definition. The bass ships strung with Blacksmith strings in a .045-.100 gauge set and arrives tuned to standard E tuning.
Electronics are centered around a pair of custom G&B high-output ceramic passive humbuckers. The pickup set consists of a B113-4 neck pickup and B113-1-4 bridge pickup, both mounted directly into the body for enhanced resonance and response. Controls remain straightforward, with a single volume and tone control utilizing 500k potentiometers.
Pre-orders for the Solar Guitars E2.4RSB bass are available here for $1,299, with shipping to begin on July 20.
