Celestion and Black Sabbath legend Tony Iommi have teamed up for a few plugins that’ll give you some doom magic. Celestion is offering two things by way of their new IRs – the Tony Iommi Laney LA412 HLC and the Tony Iommi Laney TI412S.
To dig down into those two a little more, the Tony Iommi Laney LA412 HLC offers up a closed-back 4×12″ cab with Green label Goodmans speakers. The LA412 HLC is a late ’60s cab recorded by Tony from 1969 through the early 1980s. So if you’re looking for that early Black Sabbath sound, here it is.
Then there’s the Tony Iommi Laney TI412S, which is a closed-back 4×12″ cab with G12H 75 M Celestion speakers. This cab was used extensively in the studio and on tour through the ’90s – the sound of latter era Black Sabbath.
