You Can Build CATALINBREAD’s New Pedal

Catalinbread has just rolled out their new Knight School Fvzz pedal in two versions – one that you can just buy and one that’s slightly cheaper, but you gotta put it together.

The Knight School Fvzz pedal is based on the Jordan Boss Tone, which was created way before pedal boards were a thing. Meaning the Knight School Fuzz can be placed anywhere in the pedal chain and sound pretty damn good.

“Despite its integration difficulties, you can hear the Boss Tone on several classic records by ZZ Top, the Black Keys, Spirit, New Riders of the Purple Sage, and countless others,” wrote Catalinbread of the pedal. “Our Knight School Fuzz riffs on this formula, with some value swaps, different transistors for a more modern sound, and a Bias control that utterly dissolves the sound into gnarled madness as you crank it.”

Get the kit here for $85, with the already-made one available for an extra $50.
