Wait: KEVIN SHIELDS Released New Music Inside His New Fender Pedal?

My Bloody Valentine guitarist Kevin Shields recently dropped his new signature fuzz pedal (and first-ever signature Fender pedal) dubbed The Shields Blender, but apparently there’s a little more to the story.

If you open up the Shields Blender, there’s actually a USB drive inside with new music from Shields himself! All we know is that there’s a sticker next to the drive that says you need to play it 80db or louder, and… yeah, that’s it. Has anyone heard this thing yet?

The Shields Blender grabs Shield’s classic 1970s Fender Blender, and mixes it up with two foot-switchable channels of fuzz with dedicated level controls, the ability to blend the fuzz voice with your clean signal or with a sub-octave fuzz, and a sag foot-switch that offers sputtering and ducking effects. The Shields Blender is housed in a 1970s inspired roadworthy chassis with top-mounted jacks and is powered by a 9-Volt Battery or center negative AC adaptor. Get it here for $499.99.
