The Vanguard Audio Labs V13 is a large-diaphragm multi-pattern tube condenser microphone modeled after the original V13, but now with smoother modern detail.
This new generation of the V13 adds a reconfigured power supply, premium cryogenically-treated tube circuitry (including US-made audiophile-grade resistors), Neutrik Group interconnects, and a VLSM shockmount. The V13 offers nine polar patters selectable at the power supply, an extremely low noise floor, -10dB pad and low-frequency rolloff toggle switches, and an open-weave headgrills for natural sound with low internal reflections.
