Universal Audio recently launched their new UAD Spark Plug-ins collection. The collection features 17 legendary studio hardware and instrument plug-ins for a monthly subscription price. The plug-ins are currently available on Mac OS and will be available on Windows this fall.
Now the company has added their much-loved Pultec Passive EQ collection to the Spark subscription service, meaning three Pultec tube equalizers will be available as plug-ins for the first time ever. In addition to the EQs, UAD has also announced that all Spark plug-ins can now run natively on Apple Silicon processors.
The collection thus far (outside the EQs) features a handful of compressors like the Teletronix LA-2A Collection and UA 1176 Collection; reverbs and delays like the Lexicon 224 Digital Reverb and Galaxy Tape Echo; analog mic preamps, EQs, and tape machines like the Studer A800 Tape Machine and Neve 1073 Preamp and EQ; and instruments like the Opal Morphing Synthesizer.
