Death By Audio is back with their new Space Bender pedal. The Space Bender is a chorus modulator that utilizes a handful of rocker switches to let you seamlessly move through a variety of different tones. Or as Death By Audio puts it, “stretch and pull your sound waves to craft glassy bell resonances, massive reverse dive bombs, and seasick demon drones with a simple (but deep) interface.” Try not to puke, y’all.
The Space Bender features two knobs – the Speed knob to control the speed of the LFO, sensitivity of the ENVelope, and time of the delay(s); and the Depth knob to control the depth of the Envelope or the LFO, as well as the feedback of the delay(s). Then there are the rocker switches – Delay Time, to switch between very short (x1) to medium-long (x10); Modulator to switch between a sine wave oscillator in LFO mode or an envelope in ENV mode; and Intensity to set the overall intensity of the effects.
