Toontrack has a pretty beefy September lined up. First and foremost is their Superior September campaign, which includes deals on their classic SDX expansions and added value offer of a free drum MIDI pack included with Superior Drummer 3. You can check out that entire sale here.
Toontrack also has a brand new SDX coming up with legendary engineer and producer Frank Filipetti. Dubbed the Stories SDX, the new expansion was recorded by Filipetti and features six kits and a comprehensive collection of percussion instruments across three different ambiences. Stories SDX was sampled with drumsticks throughout as well as with snare wires on/off, rods and mallets for selected kits, as well as an additional five room microphones for mixing in stereo up to 5.0 surround.
As with other SDX expansions, the Stories SDX offers a broad selection of mix-ready presets and includes MIDI grooves and patterns for the drum kits, additional tools and percussion. Stories SDX is available here for $179.
