Fuse Audio’s new GLD vertical vinyl record player system is pretty wild. The player’s functionality doesn’t differ all that much from your normal turntable, aside from the fact that it plays the record vertically and it looks cool.
The GLD offers up a sleek, mid-century modern design wrapped in real Ash wood veneer and supports all record speeds, as a run-of-the-mill table would. The GLD also features Bluetooth streaming capabilities should you wanna take things wireless.
“The GLD changes that,” said Joseph Wu, President of Fuse Audio. “It’s the perfect solution for those who collect vinyl as part of their love for music and design but don’t yet own a record player. The GLD is like functional art, allowing collectors to display and play their records in style, especially as more artists are releasing vinyl with intricate artwork and designs.”
The GLD is available right here on Kickstarter, where they’ve already raised over $300,000 after asking for a much smaller $10,000.
