Alpha Wolf and Tallon Electric have teamed up for a pretty vile new pitch shifter pedal called The Noise.
At its core are the two switches for Octave up and double Octave up alongside knobs for Panic, Chaos, Speed, and Rise. While Tallon Electric doesn’t specify what those knobs do, they appear to control chorus, flanger, and ring modulation effects in tandem with the shifting octaves. Which makes sense – this whole pedal seems hellbent on pure chaos.
“After testing and trialling this pedal live for the past 6 months we can say with utmost certainty that we absolutely love this pedal and it will never be leaving our boards, it’s the pedal we’ve forever been searching for and it simply did not exist, until now” wrote Alpha Wolf’s Scottie Simpson and Sabian Lynch of the pedal.
