Burls Art is back to make you puke. Or at least that’s how I’m feeling after looking at his new 3D guitar. Much like everything else Burls Art does, the guitar is a completely unique, 1-of-1 edition that tackles something totally original – this time, an optical illusion.
The 3D guitar offers a Walnut/Maple checkerboard optical illusion pattern body, a 25.5″ scale, a Flame Maple neck and Amara Ebony fretboard, and Seymour Duncan SLD-1 pickups. You can watch the entire build process below and get the guitar here for $6,000.
