.Strandberg is back with their third and fourth Plini models, the Boden Prog NX 6 and Neck-Thru Black. The former is an updated version of the original Boden Plini Edition, while the latter is a Black version of Plini’s Neck-Thru Natural guitar.
The Boden Prog NX 6 Plini features a chambered Swamp Ash body with a Maple top, Roasted Maple neck with Ebony fretboard and signature Plini moon inlay at the 12th fret. The Boden Prog NX 6 Plini also offers Suhr SSH+ and SSV pickups, a 3-way switch, one volume pot, and the EGS 5 Pro tremolo system. The guitar is available here for $2,495.
Then there’s the Boden Plini Edition Neck-Thru, which offers a Chambered Swamp Ash body wings, solid Maple top with Australian Blackwood, Roasted Maple neck-thru-body, and Ebony fretboard. The Neck-Thru offers an MF-design Plini Edition bridge and neck humbuckers with special 3-way wiring in a minimalist layout. The guitar is available here for $2,995.
