Spector has added one more string to their Bantam series with the all new, 32-inch short-scale bass. Well, short or medium depending on who you ask.
The Bantam 5 is a lightweight 5-string with a chambered NS-styled, carved and contoured European Alder body with a figured Maple top. The Bantam 5‘s bolt-on neck is 3-Piece Maple with a Rosewood fretboard and 22 frets. For pickups, the Bantam 5 includes two active EMG 40DC humbuckers with an EMG BTC preamp, all controlled by the bass’s very own Volume, Pickup Blend, Treble Cut/Boost, Bass Cut/Boost onboard knobs.
The Bantam 5 is available here for $2,099.99 and comes in Black Cherry, Black Stain, or Solid White.
