Solar Guitars and Blind Guardian guitarist Marcus Siepen have teamed up for a new signature model.
The S1.6MS features the Evertune constant-tension bridge, a set of Fishman Fluence Modern active humbucker pickups, a set-through neck construction with 25.5″ scale, and a quilted Maple veneer over Mahogany body with wood binding. On the other end, the S1.6MS offers a fast C-shaped thin 3-ply Mahogany neck, an Ebony fingerboard with 24 super-jumbo stainless steel frets and Luminlay “glow in the dark” side dots for easy stage use. It comes loaded with Solar 18:1 locking tuners, PPS nut, five-way blade pickup switching and full access neck.
