Solar Guitars has rolled out their first-ever HSS configuration in the form of the Type AB1.6TBS. The AB1.6TBS features a bolt-on C-Shape Roasted Maple neck and fretboard with 24 frets, Luminlay “glow in the dark” side dots, and an Alder body with a Tri-Tone Burst Matte finish. The HSS configuration sports a Duncan Solar Stacked Single Coil in both the neck and middle position, and a Duncan Solar humbucker along with an Evertune constant-tension bridge.
“This Type AB1.6TBS six-string bolt-on guitar boasts stealth looks, a distinctive cutaway scoop and a remarkable feature set, making it the ultimate, precise and professional instrument suitable for both stage and studio work,” said Solar Guitars of the new addition.
The AB1.6TBS is expected to ship in February and is available here for $1,099.99.
