Another week, another handful of excellent Solar Guitars models. This time around, Solar has rolled out new iterations of the Type A1.6 and A1.7, which as you might’ve guessed are 6- and 7-string versions of the same guitar.
The Type A1.6RH features a brass fixed bridge, a set of Solar Standard pickups, and a set-thru neck/body joint design with 25.5″ scale. The The Type A1.6RH offers an Alder body, a fast Maple neck, a Richlite fingerboard with 24 stainless steel super-jumbo frets and “glow in the dark” side dots for easy stage use. Loaded with Solar 18:1 locking tuners, PPS nut, five-way blade pickup switching and full access neck.
The Type A1.7RH is all the same as the above, except with a 26.5″ scale. The Type A1.6RH is available in Matte White and Black finish for $799.99 each, while the Type A1.7RH is available in the same colors for $899.99 each. Get ’em here.
