SLASH’s Signature MAGNATONE Head And Cab Shows Up Online

Hey, remember when we all thought Slash was leaving Marshall for Magnatone? But then it turned out Slash was actually just working with Magnatone on some new gear? Us too. And now the first taste of that gear has arrived online.

While Magnatone hasn’t officially announced anything, the Magnatone SL-100 Slash Signature head has shown up online. The Magnatone SL-100 Slash Signature takes Slash’s go-to live amplifier – the Magnatone‘s Super Fifty-Nine M-80 — and beefs it up with EL34 tubes and two footswitchable, 12AX7-infused gain modes optimized for maximum clarity.

The SL-100 includes a Master volume knob, independent Lo and Hi Gain knobs, and a 4-band tone stack. You also get a tube-buffered effects loop for integrating your pedalboard.

Get the head here for $4,899, and the cab (loaded with Celestion Vintage 30 speakers) here for $2,699. And while you’re at it, maybe go check out Magnatone’s recent collaboration with ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons right here.
