SCHECTER’s New Models Are Basically Every Folk & Power Metal Band’s Wet Dream

These new Schecter Przym Palladium models don’t have a cool paint job – that’s an engraved metal plate you’re seeing on the front of those guitars. And I’d like to apologize to every power metal band, folk metal band, viking metal band, and so on for damaging your bank accounts by introducing these models. But I know y’all like designs that look like they could’ve been carved into a giant tree or door like, 4,000 years ago.

The Przym Palladium offers up four different body shapes – the Avenger, E-1, Solo-II, and V-1 – all adorned with metal plating designed by UK-based creative brand, Przym. The company generally turns muscle cars and guitars into pieces of art, and has teamed up with Schecter to do pretty much exactly that.

All four models offer a Mahogany body, Thin “C”-shaped 3-piece Maple neck with an Ebony fretboard, and two pickups – a Fishman Fluence Modern Ceramic with Brushed Black Nickel Cover in the bridge, and a Fishman Fluence Modern Alnico with Brushed Black Nickel Cover in the neck.

All four models have their pickups controlled by a Master Volume and Tone knobs, both with a push/pull function, and a 3-way pickup selector toggle switch.

The Avenger and E-1 both have a 25.5″ scale, 24 frets, and come loaded with a Floyd Rose 1500 Double-Locking bridge. The Solo-II and V-1 both offers a shorter 24.75″ scale, 22 frets, and both have stopbar tailpieces instead of a Floyd Rose.

“The Przym Palladium series brings together the artistry of traditional bespoke metal engraving and modern functionality, inspired by timeless baroque designs seen in vintage American gunsmithing and custom built lowriders,” wrote Przym of the guitars.

“This collection features acid-etched metal top faceplates, ebony fretboards, and Fishman Fluence pickups, offering a unique combination of classic craftsmanship and high-performance playability.”

The Avenger and E-1 are priced at $2,099, while the V-1 and Solo-II models are going for $1,999. Get ’em all right here.
