Schecter’s USA Custom Shop has once again raised the bar for contemporary guitar design with the John Browne Zenith Signature models. Built in close collaboration with the Monuments guitarist, the Zenith is available in both six- and seven-string configurations.
Both versions feature Alder bodies finished in Fracture White, paired with Black hardware for a bold, modern aesthetic. The Bolt-on construction delivers a balanced, articulate response with defined attack and note separation, while the Hipshot Ibby HM bridge ensures exceptional tuning stability and precise intonation under aggressive playing styles.
The necks are built from Quartersawn Maple reinforced with Carbon Fiber rods, providing long-term stability and strength. A 2-Way Adjustable Spoke Wheel truss rod makes on-the-fly adjustments simple and reliable. The Ebony fingerboard offers a smooth, fast surface with Super Green Luminlay side dots for maximum visibility on dark stages.
A Custom Thin “C” profile, measuring 0.790” at the first fret and 0.840 inches at the twelfth, strikes a balance between speed and substance, ideal for both intricate leads and complex chord voicings.
Each model includes 24 Jescar Stainless Steel frets set into a 16-inch radius fingerboard, ensuring a low, effortless action and extended fret life. The GraphTech Black Tusq nut contributes to precise tuning and sustain, while Schecter Hipshot Staggered Locking tuners maintain rock-solid pitch stability.
Electronics are purpose-built for Browne’s distinctive sound. A single John Browne Colossus Signature bridge pickup delivers immense power, clarity, and articulation — equally capable of percussive, low-end chug or fluid, harmonically rich lead tones. The Master Volume control includes a coil-split toggle, expanding the tonal range from thick humbucker punch to glassy single-coil definition.
The six-string model features a 25.5” scale, ideal for traditional setups and balanced string tension, while seven-string variant extends to a 27” scale for optimal low-end clarity and tighter response. Get both here and keep up with all our Schecter coverage right here!
