Schecter’s Rob Scallon line of guitars has gotten a bit of a makeover thanks to the new Contrasts line. The Rob Scallon Contrasts is once again available in 6-, 7-, and 8-string configurations, though with a White body and Black stripe as opposed to the all-hardwood look of the originals.

The Rob Scallon Contrasts offer Swamp Ash bodies with Mahogany 3-piece necks, Ebony fretboards with Pearloid Reverse Dot inlays and Pearloid Dot side dot markers, and 24 Jumbo frets. All three come with a Schecter Diamond ’78 Special Rob Scallon in both the bridge and neck position, as well as a Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut.

Where things get a little shaken up are the scale lengths. The 6-string is a 25.5″ scale length, while the 7-string is a 26.25″-25.5″ multiscale and the 8-string goes a little bit longer with a 27″-25.5″ multiscale. So again – nothing really different than the Satin Dark Roast originals.

The C-1 Contrasts is available for $1,299, the C-7 Contrasts for $1,499, and the C-8 for $1,599. Get all three here.
