If you somehow missed Schecter and Glassjaw mastermind Justin Beck rolling out both a Beck-signature guitar and bass, you can check ’em out below as Beck james along with… himself.

The Justin Beck Ani offers a Natural Gloss finish atop a solid Swamp Ash body paired with a bolt-on Hard Rock Maple neck and fingerboard with a Vintage “C” neck profile, 14″ fretboard radius, and 24 X-Jumbo frets; and two carbon fiber reinforcement rods.
On the electronics side, the Ani is armed with Schecter USA Apocalypse pickups in both the neck and bridge. These high-output humbuckers are engineered for clarity, aggression, and articulation. A push-pull coil-split function on the tone control adds versatility, offering everything from searing humbucker tones to bright, articulate single-coil textures.
The Justin Beck Ani also features a Schecter Diamond Vintage Tremolo, combining classic looks with modern stability. Paired with the locking tuners and Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut, this trem system is designed to keep tuning intact even under expressive whammy work. Black hardware rounds out the minimalist aesthetic with a sharp, focused edge.

Then there’s the Justin Beck V Ani. Visually, the Gloss Natural finish over a Swamp Ash body gives the V Ani a clean look that highlights the wood grain without overcomplicating things. The bolt-on Hard Rock Maple neck and fretboard, reinforced with carbon fiber rods, ensures long-term stability, especially under the demands of heavy touring or frequent tuning shifts.
Comfort and playability are front and center with this bass. The thin “C” neck shape, combined with a 12″ fretboard radius and 21 X-Jumbo frets, makes for a fast and forgiving playing experience. Whether you’re holding down a groove or climbing up for melodic fills, everything feels precise and deliberate. The Luminlay side dots also add a thoughtful touch for visibility on dark stages.
The Justin Beck V Ani comes equipped with Schecter USA MonsterTone pickups (a J-style in the bridge and P-style in the neck) and a push/pull coil-tap function on the tone knob for added flexibility. All that, plus the Vintage-style open-gear tuners, a fully adjustable bridge that supports both top-load and string-thru setups, and a Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut all ensure solid tuning and sustain.
